We didn't think this nice little liquor store, right beside the Publix store would last, because across the street was Walgreen's Liquors. Guess what! That was several years ago, can't quite remember how many, and Star is still there, still stocked well with items not easily found at other liquor stores (like Akvavit) and still with quirky, friendly people to answer your questions and give an opinion if asked. I am rarely disappointed when looking for something and the prices are okay on my budget. I've noticed, recently that the Walgreen's is beginning to carry some of the items that only Star carried before ... hmmmmm, competition?
Okay hole in the wall packy. The beer selection was weak. Store is dirty though. The clerk was friendly. That's about it.
