I found Dr. Elliott's bedside manner to be good. He does take time to explain things pretty well. So far I am pretty pleased with him. His office has been kind and professional except for his front desk clerk Jackie can be very curt from time to time with the patients. I did find also communications with the Scheduling Clerk stressed at times and slightly difficult. But all in all I think Dr. Elliott is a good Gastroenterologist and I am pleased.
Outstanding physician and man. He is surrounded by quality folks and honestly cares for his patients in a way that stands out. He is a doctor's doctor.
I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for today. I came in 7 minutes before my appointment time only to be told that the Dr left for the hospital. Why? They were unable to leave a confirmation voicemail the day before because my mailbox was full so he didn't think I was going to show. I have worked in medical offices for a long time and never have I ever had a doctor just leave before an appointment. If there was an emergency, I should have received a call to let me know that I would have to reschedule. There was no call to let me know. I did however get a call to let me know that he was running ahead of schedule and if I could come in early, give them a call. I work. I can not answer my cell phone. I make appointments and keep them because I understand how it hurts an office to have patients no-show. Today I was supposed to get HELP. Instead I took time off work, wasted time and gas and now I'm left sick and waiting, looking for another Doctor.
