Visited Dr. Bohen's office as a first time patient with an abscessed tooth. I have dentistphobia, therefore, I'm embarrassed to say I have neglected going to the dentist for many years. The office staff was so friendly and supportive. No lectures about how I should have been seeing a dentist on a regular basis, yadayada. The sign on the wall in front of my chair said "We cater to cowards" and that could not have been more true. Dr. Bohen explained everything he was going to do, he was patient with me as I sat up in the chair a couple of times having an anxiety moment, and his assistant was very comforting. He explained all of the options I had with the tooth, and also explained the possibilities of what I should/could do to move forward with additional dental care. Ultimately, he extracted my tooth, which was completely painless. He personally called me that afternoon to check on how I was doing!! The day after the extraction I felt a small amount of soreness, which was much less than I had expected. I will be returning to his office for follow-up care and additional work on my teeth to bring back a smile that I can once again be proud of. Highly recommend his practice!! Carla O
