The campground is nestled in a beautiful setting. The whole park was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was super friendly. Me and my 12 year old loved setting up camp here for the night. Thanks! More than reasonable camp cost.

We have returned to this friendly, laid-back place for six consecutive years. You will have great views of beautiful boats making their way through the locks. The sites are very large, and there is plenty of room to exercise even the not-so-small dog. Most of all, park manager Joe does such an outstanding job of keeping this gem clean, quiet, and safe.

I've never felt more unwelcome at a campground. The guy or ranger who lives there is a complete jerk who takes his job way too seriously, I'll just leave it at that. I was going to stay but wasn't certain so I left and when I came back, he was on break or whatever so as he instructed me, I took the spot he told me was open and when I did, before I could even get setup, I got a knock on my camper. I opened my door. My dog of course being a dog jumps out of the camper and the guy immediately starts laying into me telling me I need to have my dog on a leash at all times! I'm supposed to put my dog on a leash inside the camper before I open the door?! Give me a break! Then, I had a friend coming to visit and when I gave her the code, the one he gave me was wrong (on purpose maybe?, I wouldn't doubt it). So, I go to try and get him out of his residence (he lives there) and he finally gives me the right code after she had been waiting out there and when she finally was able to come in, there was a truck behind her that also tried to come in and instead of telling the guy in the truck he couldn't come in, he goes off on me like it was my fault! This is after he gave me the wrong code! I've never been treated so rudely at a campsite and will never go back because of this jerk. He lives there and I think he believes he owns the park, not sure. Usually park Rangers are there to make you feel welcome and appreciative for the business. Not this guy, he's there to give you an attitude, I would've left but I had no where else to go. I will NEVER go back as long as that jerk is running the place. I don't think he's going anywhere living there so I strongly recommend finding another park to camp unless you want to feel like someone is watching your every move. Definitely not what I was expecting, so glad I'm outta there.

Beautiful spot, friendly ranger, super clean bathrooms, an awesome place to stay. This is our second trip and we will be back!

Love this camp ground!!
